illusion

A white cat chasing a wired computer mouse, symbolizing the illusion of pursuit in the digital age.
“Some chases are for survival; others for the joy of believing in the illusion.”

Instinct vs. Illusion

The cat’s chase once meant survival — a matter of life and hunger. Now, it chases a wired illusion, mistaking the hum of electricity for prey. In our own ways, we all chase — not for need, but for the thrill of pursuit itself. Sometimes it’s not what we catch, but what we believe we’re chasing that defines us.

Not every chase feeds the body — some only feed the illusion.
